(I keep skipping days between posts. Oopsie. :-/)
I took this picture on our last night in Athens--I couldn't pass up that guy in that shirt. And the thing is, I could totally imagine this Greek guy living in NYC and standing in front of a t-shirt shop there. This picture is totally interchangeable!
This was from a flower garden on the island of Capri. I just like the colors, the textures, the way the flower pot makes a reddish swoop through the shot. Oh, and also that I took it while on Capri. ;)
In Lucerne, Switzerland, this dog was playing in the lake with his owner. The owner would throw this stick far out into the lake, and Gino would eagerly swim out and get it. Our group--about 45 people--was cheering him on and yelling "Good dog!", but he was utterly, happily focused--he didn't care about anything but his owner and that stick.
Haven't been posting much while I'm traveling--functional internet access is too hard to come by. I have indeed been taking like 75 pictures a day, though. :) I'll start posting regularly again when I come home.
There's an "Everything" store in Paris, too!
Internet access--and time to blog--is scarce on my European trip. I'll be back to my picture-a-day schedule as soon as I can.
