I tend to hang back from my subjects, trying to keep out of the way so I don't change their behavior. That and I don't really have the confidence to announce I'm taking a capital-P PICTURE, or the willingness to forgo the picture if I ask permission and they say no. :P I have boundary issues.
So I decided to turn what I thought was a weakness into a theme: pictures in which no one (or nothing) is aware a moment is being recorded. (And I've decided animals don't count.) Sneaky, underhanded photography, but hopefully, honest.
I live in L.A. I don't have a 'spensive camera (a mere Canon SD600 Sure Shot) or any particular training. Even discounting their quality, my shots are CERTAINLY not the most eye-catching or groundbreaking of all the thousands of other photo blogs you could choose from. But I challenged myself to take a picture a day for a year. And what's the use of taking if you don't show?
However, I often have a terrible time choosing just one. Sometimes I'll probably use one picture to represent a set, which you'll be able to see if you click the "read more" button.
